How to play

  1. Choose an animal from the suggestions, then submit your guess.
  2. The shared group is the closest ancestor of your guess and the mystery animal. A more specific group narrows the search.
  3. You have 20 guesses. A hint reveals another group and costs 3 guesses. Invalid or repeated answers cost nothing.
  4. Everyone gets the same daily animal. A new puzzle arrives at midnight UTC. Practice has separate results.
